Waseca County Fair

It’s county fair time again and this year starts with Waseca County.

4H animal judging is always an important part of each county fair. Today the goats had their day in the ring.

The judge makes a comment on each animal and points out their strong areas and also places where improvements could be made. He particularly liked this goats milk production.

If the pigs aren’t eating, they are sleeping. Making the bacon is apparently very exhausting!

These two appear to be making napping a competitive event.

These 4H art projects appear to have been tasked with making sculpture out of common metal objects. The tail is a series of chains, the neck a spring, and other such pieces and parts. Rather impressive for a 9 year old.

Creative and funny at the same time.

This brand new farm tractor had a price tag showing it cost $600,000! That is JUST the tractor; you then have to purchase the implements that it pulls behind it….

The cows were getting a spa day in anticipation of their turn in the show ring.
