It was a beautiful day to walk the pier, but one can only imagine how inhospitable this would be during the winter storms. There are specifically warning signs to not walk out here during inclement weather. The body of water is Green Bay off of Lake Michigan.

Furnishings on the inside of the lighthouse shows how it would have looked back in the day the lighthouse keeper and their family lived here.

This wood carving of a mother dog and her pups was made out of a single solid piece of wood.

The view from the top of the lighthouse.

Lisa posing with the fresnel lens. The fresnel lens is pronounced fray-NEL with a silent ‘s’.

The history museum had my first ever computer - the Radio Shack TRS-80! I loved this thing!! However, I don’t love that it is now an artifact in a history museum!!
